Review: One by Jewel E. Ann

Review: One by Jewel E. Ann

In my mind, humor and angst go hand in hand with Jewel E. Ann’s books. One is a bit of a departure for her. It’s a sports romance that has all the wit, but none of the gut wrenching, anxiety producing conflicts I’ve come to expect. This book proves that Jewel can write lighthearted romantic comedy very well while maintaining an extremely touching quality.

Review ♥ So Much More by Kim Holden

Review ♥ So Much More by Kim Holden

I started reading So Much More yesterday evening and before I knew it the sun was rising. I simply had to finish it so I got zero sleep. And you know what? It’s worth the yawns, puffy eyes, and dark circles I’m suffering today because once again Kim Holden has slain me with a fascinating story that has all the feels and then some.

Review: Steadfast by Sarina Bowen

Review: Steadfast by Sarina Bowen

Sarina Bowen’s True North series is a breath of fresh air. There are no millionaires, superstar athletes, models, or rock stars. You won’t find people returning from the dead, love triangles, or emotional roller coasters. It’s simply an enjoyable series with down-to-earth, working class characters that warm your heart. Steadfast moves into heavier territory with a believable story about drug addiction and second chances.

July 1, 2016 Angela Wrap Up

Check out my list of June 2016 reviews. I can’t believe how many 5-star books I read!! Some of the books haven’t been released yet, but I found a few older gems. In particular, if you haven’t read Bright Side or Gus by Kim Holden or Kulti by Mariana Zapata I can’t recommend them highly enough.
