In Calculated in Death, Eve, Roarke, Peabody and the rest of the gang are back to solve another case—this one involving the murder of a likeable accountant. The book gets off to a slow start, primarily due to the story being bogged down with too many similar suspects to keep straight, but things pick up considerably about one quarter of the way through.
