That’s a Wrap! August 2016

September 3, 2016 Angela Wrap Up

August was a busy, busy month. Blogging took a back seat to real life while I sent my oldest daughter off to college and got the younger ones ready to start school again. I reached my Goodreads 2016 reading goal of 100 books though, so go, me! I read two 5-star books: It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover and After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid. In case you missed it, here are the books reviewed on the blog in August 2016. As always, feel free to follow me on Goodreads.

That’s A Wrap! July 2016

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far! July was a month of fun family time, but I still managed to carve out some reading time. I read some fabulous books this month—especially So Much More by Kim Holden, Anything But Minor by Kate Stewart, Broken Prince by Erin Watt, and This Is Love by Caroline Nolan. Very rarely I’ll come across a book I don’t finish, but you won’t find them listed here because I don’t rate them. I do share all my opinions on Goodreads, though, so feel free to follow me on Goodreads. Here’s a list of books reviewed in July 2016.

Check out my list of June 2016 reviews. I can’t believe how many 5-star books I read!! Some of the books haven’t been released yet, but I found a few older gems. In particular, if you haven’t read Bright Side or Gus by Kim Holden or Kulti by Mariana Zapata I can’t recommend them highly enough.

May 2016  was super busy and yet my reading list for the month somehow kept growing longer. Fortunately, I was able to enjoy a few 4 ½ and 5 star books. My top picks are The Empty Jar by M. Leighton (for those who enjoy a good tear jerker), Sugar Daddy by Sawyer Bennett (for romantic suspense fans), Breaking Him by R.K. Lilley (an angst lover’s dream), and  One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid (for heartwarming romantics). You can read all my May reviews by clicking below.

That’s a Wrap! April 2016

That’s a Wrap! April 2016

It’s time for a wrap up of April 2016 reviews. I’m making good headway into my Goodreads 2016 Reading Challenge. Not only am I more than halfway towards my goal, but but half the books I read in April were written by authors whose work I’ve never read. Pam Godwin is a new-to-me author and her book, Dark Notes, was one of my favorite reads. Don’t you love discovering new authors?  What was your favorite book you read in April?

That’s a Wrap! March 2016

I was lucky enough to read some pretty great romances in March. Hands down, my favorite book was Paper Princess by Erin Watt. It releases April 4th and I highly recommend you 1-click this angsty, addictive read. Fingers crossed that April brings even more fabulous new releases as well as old gems I haven’t discovered yet. Here’s a list of all the books I reviewed in March.

That’s a Wrap! February 2016

February 29, 2016 Angela Wrap Up

February 2016 was an ARC heavy month, but I managed to sneak in a couple books that have been on my To Be Read List. Luckily, the majority were 4- and 5-star reads. Here’s a wrap-up of my February reviews.   February Book Haul I hit the jackpot in the bargain aisles this month, and I bought 12 books. Well, I received a signed copy of The Fall by the lovely Kate Stewart as a gift, so I didn’t actually buy that one. I only paid full price for one book though. The rest cost $4 or under. I love a good bargain!     Bring on March!

That’s a Wrap! January 2016

My reading goal this year is 100 books. That may seem like a crazy number of books, but I think I can do it. It’s definitely easier to read a book that I love versus a so-so book. 2016 started off with a bang with some truly awesome reads. Here’s a wrap up of books I reviewed in January.
