One story. Two couples.

I fell in love with a man who didn’t exist.

What started out as romance ended in hell. His words turned to razor blades. His kisses converted to fists. His embrace became my cage. His body transformed into a weapon, stealing parts of me until ultimately…. I broke.

I hated him.
My sole job in life became to protect our daughter.

I wasn’t sure I’d ever escape the prison he’d skillfully crafted from my fears. Until the day our savior arrived.

This is the story of how I escaped the man who thought he owned me.

The transfer of my life and my family.

Transfer is the second book in the Retrieval Duet. I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into this continuation, and hallelujah it’s a juicy one. The story picks up seconds after the plot-twisting, stomach churning cliffhanger at the end of Retrieval and continues to propel readers through an adrenaline rush of a plot. Read More

About Aly Martinez

Aly Martinez

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez now lives in South Carolina with her four young children.

Never one to take herself too seriously, she enjoys cheap wine, mystery leggings, and baked feta. It should be known, however, that she hates pizza and ice cream, almost as much as writing her bio in the third person.

She passes what little free time she has reading anything and everything she can get her hands on, preferably with a super-sized tumbler of wine by her side.

Review & Excerpt: Four Letter Word by J. Daniels

Review & Excerpt: Four Letter Word by J. Daniels

September 28, 2016 Angela Erotica, Excerpts, Reviews

I’ve had a soft spot for J. Daniels ever since I popped my erotica cherry—if you will—with Sweet Addiction. Yes, her stories are hotter than Hates, but they’re also infused with a healthy dose of comedy. When I heard she was writing a new series, I was more than ready to jump aboard the Dirty Deeds train. Four Letter Word is the first book in the Dirty Deeds series, and it has Daniels’s signature blend of sassiness, sensuality, and humor stamped all over it, but with one added bonus: heart.

Review: The Silent Waters by Brittainy C. Cherry

Fair warning. This review is probably going to suck because there’s nothing I can say that will adequately convey the way The Silent Waters affected me. I admit I was hesitant to read it. I wasn’t sure I was emotionally prepared for a book whose synopsis clearly states that it’s heartbreaking and tragic. However, I have absolutely no regrets about reading this book other than the fact that I’m now left with a massive book hangover.

Review ♥ Where Sea Meets Sky by Karina Halle

Review ♥ Where Sea Meets Sky by Karina Halle

September 15, 2016 Angela Reviews

I’m waffling between 2.5 stars and 3 stars on this one. The thing I enjoyed about the most about Where Sea Meets Sky: Josh. I loved Josh. His quirkiness, passion, patience, fearlessness, and honesty make him wildly appealing. I just wish he didn’t allow himself to be such a doormat.

Review ♥ Nobody’s Baby But Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Review ♥ Nobody’s Baby But Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Nobody—and I do mean no body—crafts a comedic enemies-to-lovers story as well as Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Period. Oh, and arrogant jerks. Somehow she creates these arrogant and bull-headed alphas who are so sweet at heart that they easily win you over. And her heroines? I always adore her gutsy heroines. Basically, I’m a huge SEP fan in case you can’t tell. Nobody’s Baby But Mine is the third book in the Chicago Stars series, and it’s every bit as enjoyable as the previous books.
