Review: The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

Review: The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

I can’t believe The Hating Game is Sally Thorne’s first novel. This book is such a joy from beginning to end. It has all the makings of a great enemies to lovers romance: a quirky, smart, sweet but lonely girl; a gorgeous, intelligent but antagonistic hero; tons of banter and bickering; hilarious shenanigans; and a slow burn. However, it’s the execution of the refreshing plot that makes this story so lovely.

Audiobook Review: Law Man by Kristen Ashley

I’m a total rebel. I’m reading this series out of order. Shhh. Here’s what I’ve discovered about Kristen Ashley’s books based on the limited number I’ve read. Kristen writes long-ass books. She takes her time weaving intricate stories, establishing the complexities of unique characters, and delving into ever evolving relationships. That can make for some stellar reading, but a 500 page book requires a lot of dedication. In the case of Law Man, the payoff is worth it.

Review, Excerpt & $100 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway ♥ Trust by Jana Aston

Jana Aston just made my day. This story is so freaking cute that I giggled—actually giggled like a schoolgirl—my way through the first chapter of Trust. That led to full-out laughing out loud and swooning throughout the rest of the book. In the end, I wound up with sore cheeks from smiling so much. Chloe is absolutely adorkable. Her numerous dating disasters are cringe-worthy and hysterical. She takes the prize as the most socially awkward, anxiety-ridden, yet lovable character in recent memory. Like, we’re total besties now.
