I’m going to be honest with you. I have been riding the struggle bus lately, and blogging has taken a seat way in the back. I hate it when real life gets in the way of blogging.
We had a major loss in my family. My grandmother, the heart of our family, passed away at 99 after a brief illness. I don’t care how many years you have with a loved one. It’s never enough. On top of that, I’ve been dealing with my own health issues, and then just to make my life a little more chaotic, we got a puppy. There are few things cuter than a beagle puppy, and Poppy is super cute, but she’s very much a puppy—energetic, into everything, and seemingly incapable of knowing where it’s appropriate to go potty.
Basically, I’ve got a lot on my plate.
I think I put too much thought and effort into my reviews, so even though I’ve been reading, I haven’t been up to writing reviews. I’ve even been too busy to do Top Ten Tuesday, which is always fun.
All that is to say that I’m still here!! I hope to get back to normal soon. Thanks for your patience and understanding,

I’m so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I lost mine at 103 and that still didn’t give me the time to know all of her stories and give her love. BUT puppy! Poppy is ADORABLE! We had a Beagle for 14 years. She was my first baby. You’re going to have so much fun with her!
