NETFLIX NEWS! The 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN series is being adapted into a steamy Netflix dramedy series called SEX/LIFE, coming soon!

Now a Top 100 Amazon Bestseller and winner of the After Dark Book Lovers Shortie Award for Best Debut of 2016.

"Oh. My. God. I can't stop laughing. Or reading. WHAT IS HAPPENING?" - Colleen Hoover, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author

School psychologists aren’t supposed to write books about sex. Doing so would be considered “unethical” and “a fireable offense.” Lucky for you, ethics was never my strong suit.

After spending years trying to spice up my sex life, I gave up and took to my journal. Perhaps my gorgeous, cold, number crunching husband simply wasn’t capable of the kind of passion I’d come to expect. After all, my ex-boyfriends—a tattoo artist turned U.S. Marine turned motorcycle club outlaw, a baby-faced punk rocker out on parole, and a heavy-metal bass player—were every bit as tattooed and testosterone-fueled as the leading men in my favorite romance novels. If I couldn’t have that kind of passion again in real life, I could at least write about it. Right? Nobody had to know. It would be my little secret.

Well, guess what? My husband read that shit.

And guess what else? He upped his fucking game.

Drunk with power and under the dubious advisement of my best friend and colleague, I began testing the limits—crafting journal entries specifically designed to manipulate Ken’s behavior. For the most part, he responded beautifully … except when he didn’t.

44 Chapters About 4 Men is such an original story. A woman in an unsatisfying marriage writes a diary detailing her relationships with former lovers—all in hopes that her husband will read it and up his game. I don’t know whether or not the book is truly semi-autobiographical, but it certainly is entertaining.

The men BB dated in the past were seriously disturbed in one way or another. Her experiences are both funny and creepy. She is an expert on toxic relationships.

There are two journals—the diary BB intends for her husband Ken to read and a private journal where she pours out her true feelings. It’s a clever an effective way to tell the story. The humor tends to be over the top, but my biggest issue is that I did not like her husband. Ken is a stubborn and unfeeling douche at the beginning of the book and my opinion of him didn’t change much by the end. The book is being adapted into a Netflix series. I’m curious to see how it translates.

The audiobook is really good. The Ramona Master has this innocent voice, which is a stark contrast to the character’s foul mouth. It’s cute. I enjoyed her dramatic delivery.

About BB Easton

BB Easton never sought out to become an author. In fact, she was a full-time school psychologist and new mom when inspiration struck.

To keep herself awake during late night feedings with her daughter (the manic pixie known as “Baby BB” if you follow her on Instagram), BB would read romance novels on her Kindle. After stumbling upon the glorious subgenre that is “tattooed bad boy romance,” BB realized that she KNEW the men she was reading about. The tattoo artist, the motorcycle club outlaw, the underground street racer, the rock star … she had DATED them. ALL OF THEM.

So BB started writing down her own stories about these guys – wild, ridiculous stories from her past as a rebellious, purple-haired punk rocker – just for fun. No one was supposed to read them. CERTAINLY NOT HER HUSBAND. But that’s exactly what happened. BB discovered that her straight-laced, NOT-tattooed, NOT-bad-in-any-way-shape-or-form husband had been reading her sexy ex-boyfriend journal, and from that day on, her life would never be the same. She took the events that followed and turned them into the hilarious, heart-warming, hot-as-hell romantic comedy: 44 Chapters About 4 Men!

Within weeks, 44 Chapters About 4 Men: A Memoir, hit the Amazon Top 100 Bestseller list and later won the After Dark Book Lovers Shortie Award for Best Debut of 2016. It was so successful that BB decided to quit her stressful job, dye her hair pink, and keep on writing, giving each of the four men in 44 Chapters About 4 Men his own book: SKIN, SPEED, STAR, and SUIT. You can binge-read the entire series, listen to it on audio, or download it for FREE with your Kindle Unlimited subscription.

When she’s not writing, momming, drinking Jameson, or twerking in her kitchen to Lizzo, you can find BB on social media.
