It all started with a wedding…Well, three weddings, to be exact. The one that happened, the one that went up in flames, and the one nobody saw coming.

Andrew Collings has seen a lot of things living in Vegas. Hell, he’s done a lot of things. But one thing he’s never witnessed is a beautiful brunette, hitchhiking her way into the city, wearing a wedding dress. Until now, that is.

Brynne Adams is running away from a broken heart. She expected a lot of things from her wedding day but finding photos of her fiancé and maid of honor and best man in a compromising position wasn’t one of them. She most certainly never imagined that she’d end up marrying the handsome stranger that rescued her from the side of the road that day.

Andrew and Brynne’s quick nuptials may have been the result of a drunken joke, but they soon realize that love can be found in the most unlikely of places if you just stop and take a chance.

* Wicked Wedding is the fourth book in the LEFT AT THE ALTAR series in a collaboration of six New York Times Bestselling Authors: J. S. Scott, Ruth Cardello, Raine Miller, Sawyer Bennett, Minx Malone, and Melody Anne.

In order to enjoy this quick read you have to be willing to spare a big dose of reality and get a little (ok, a lot) dirty, and that’s something that I was in the mood to do.

Even if you are unfamiliar with The Wicked Horse series of standalones, the first page of Wicked Wedding will let you know that you’re dealing with some hella hot erotica. It’s like a blinking caution sign for those with delicate sensibilities. What I didn’t expect was how fun the beginning of this book would be.

Brynn is a hitchhiking runaway bride, and I loved every moment of her meet cute with Andrew, her knight in a shining Subaru. They go from strangers to spouses to long-distance lovers all in the course of 24 hours. It’s actually kind of delightful if you overlook the impossibility of a gazillionaire marrying a stranger without a prenup and the thought of uprooting one’s life so quickly.

If you’ve read Wicked Envy, you’ll remember Andrew, who participated in an ongoing ménage à trois with his two best friends. It was nice being reunited with Dane and Avril. Brynn repeatedly makes it clear that she thinks threesomes are perverted, so you know it’s only a matter of time before the crap hits the fan when Andrew’s history is uncovered. Brynn has every right to her feelings, but I had difficulty accepting her 180 on the subject. However, Andrew and Brynn are like sexual napalm. I loved them together as a couple. I also enjoyed the storyline with Brynn’s douche of an ex-fiancé and her best friend.

Despite the insta love, the sex-centric nature, and the sheer improbability of it all, this naughty tale entertained me throughout. For that I give it 4 stars.

A reformed trial lawyer from North Carolina, Sawyer uses real life experience to create relatable, sexy stories that appeal to a wide array of readers. From new adult to erotic contemporary romance, Sawyer writes something for just about everyone.

When not bringing fictional romance to life, Sawyer is a chauffeur, stylist, chef, maid, and personal assistant to a very active toddler, as well as full-time servant to two adorably naughty dogs. She believes in the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great work-out, cake, or a combination of the two.
