This year I’ve decided to challenge myself as a reader in several different ways. I’m counting on you to help keep me on track! Here are my reading goals for 2017.
Lucian Divine by Renée Carlino is now live!
If you thought Marriage Games by CD Reiss was intense, you’d better brace yourself for the enticing conclusion, Separation Games. Adam went to extremes to fight for his estranged wife’s love in the previous book. Now the tables have turned, and Diana is determined to make Adam realize their marriage can work while at the same time coming to terms with her submissiveness.
FULL PACKAGE by Lauren Blakely is here, and there’s a huge giveaway to celebrate the release! A sexy and funny friends-to-lovers standalone romantic comedy, FULL PACKAGE is about a sexy, witty man as he falls head over heels for a woman, who just happens to be his roommate. It takes everything you love about a Lauren Blakely novel –witty dialogue, smoking hot sex scenes, and heartfelt moments –and puts them into one fantastic book! Told in the guy’s POV, with a creative look into Josie’s POV as well, FULL PACKAGE is the laugh-out-loud and insanely hot story of what happens when a sexy ER doc falls madly in love with his gorgeous roommate…and they’re forced to deal with all that simmering desire in a mere six hundred square feet of living space.
Emma Chase is an auto buy author for me anyway, but when I heard she was writing a brand new series, I felt a rush of excitement as I 1-clicked. Royally Screwed is the charming first book in the Royally series.
Lauren Blakely made me an instant fan with her hit, Big Rock. She has penned four successful spin-offs since then; I’ve read and enjoyed each one. Full Package is number five, and it’s absolute romantic comedy perfection.
I’m so over adulting right now, and Meghan March’s books always provide an entertaining diversion from real life. Real Good Man was just what the doctor ordered.
What a fun and sexy little story! When Mia’s fiancé calls off their wedding a week before the wedding day, her friends convince her to go on her honeymoon trip to Paris alone. Her vacation to the City of Love gets off to a rocky start when she is confronted with lovers everywhere she goes. On the verge of returning home, Mia escapes into a sports bar where Lucas is bartending. After chatting, Lucas urges Mia to give Paris another chance and he offers to be her tour guide. Although the scruffy Frenchman isn’t her type, she quickly grows attracted to him.
I think I read almost every sub-genre of romance last month: romantic suspense, sports romance, enemies to lovers, romantic comedy, contemporary, YA, and erotica. Novellas and tearjerkers were also part of the mix. In case you missed it, here’s a recap of the books reviewed in December 2016.
I’m a fan of the Driven series by K. Bromberg, and Down Shift makes a nice addition. You’ve got two strong main characters, each of whom are at a crossroads in their lives. Zander is forced to face his past and evaluate his priorities when his reckless behavior puts him dangerously close crashing and burning. Getty needs to find independence and confidence after escaping an abusive past.
