Amazon B&N Apple In a blistering novel of raw emotion and desire, a tormented woman teaches an alpha male that money can’t fix everything . . . but love can.
Tiffany
After fighting for a new life, I don’t want to play the victim anymore. However, with three kids to raise, I’m getting desperate enough to make a deal with the devil. My estranged brother-in-law, Blake, says he just wants to help, but he’s been trouble since I met him. I don’t know if I can believe this kinder, gentler Blake, and there’s a friction between us that has turned into the sweetest chemistry. He could be my salvation . . . or my downfall.
Blake
I haven’t always had Tiffany’s best interests at heart but I’m ready to make up for my sins. Besides, I can’t help admiring her: The girl’s a genuine survivor, tough and lean, with eyes of steel. But the more I get to know Tiffany, the more I want her. Every inch of her. Which means I’m about to make a bad situation a hell of a lot worse.
It’s hard for me to rate Wait for It. Honestly, there’s nothing about this book that’s particularly bad. There’s nothing that makes it stand out either. I suspect my current book funk has colored my opinions. For what it’s worth, here goes. Read More

Looking for a fun second chance romance? The Hot One has you covered. Tyler and Delaney were two pre-law students who were madly in love when Tyler abruptly and inexplicably dumped her just before graduation. Nearly a decade later and neither has seen or spoken to the other. They haven’t Googled each other or tried to stalk each other on Facebook. We’re talking a cold turkey split.
All hail Queen Emma! I swear, I don’t think Emma Chase is capable of writing a bad book, and Royally Matched was pure joy for me to read from the first page to the last.
I’ve come to one conclusion: Sawyer Bennett is not human. It seems like she adds to her impressive arsenal of work every couple months with books ranging from romantic suspense and erotica to lighthearted contemporary romance. How is that even possible? How, I ask you?! I don’t know, but as long as she keeps cooking up these sweet sports romances with a hint of spice, I’ll keep gobbling them up like candy. Roman was a tasty treat for me.
I fell crazy in love with this book! I don’t read very much M/M, but when I do I’m fond of the gay man falling for the straight guy scenario. There’s just something intriguing about chasing a straight man who is denying his true desires. Such is case in The Spiral Down when the openly gay rock superstar, Henry Alexander, sets his sights on the clearly straight pilot, Evan Roth.
Dark romance may not be at the top of my list of favorite genres, but I’ve read several that I quite enjoyed. Ones with characters I could relate to and relationships that I could ultimately root for even when those relationships were rather twisted. I think maybe I’m just not cut out for this particular style of brutal dark romance.
Welcome to my stop on the Meet Your Next Book Boyfriend blog tour hosted by my blogging buddies at Foxy Blogs. I’m excited to introduce you to Jake Becker from one of my all-time favorite romantic comedies, Sustained by Emma Chase. Jake is a wanted man, so watch out! There are two giveaways so make sure you enter them both. A paperback of Sustained and a $25 Amazon gift card are up for grabs.
Talk about a pick-me-up. P.I.T.A. is a wonderful, hilarious standalone addition to Brooke Blaine’s L.A. Liaisons series.
I started off 2017 with a bang! I enjoyed some really great reads and made pretty good progress with keeping my 2017 Reading Goals. More on that in a minute. Here’s a list of books reviewed on this blog in January. A few of these were read before January.
