Review ♥ Jock Row by Sara Ney
What an unexpected treat Jock Row was! I had some reservations based on the blurb, but Sara Ney knocked my socks off with this college rom-com.

I love the sense of camaraderie and shared passion found in sports romances. Sports rom-coms are my go-to for a quick escape, but when I want more substance, I know I can turn to Kennedy Ryan. With Hook Shot, she uses the backdrop of professional basketball once again to deliver another heartfelt romance.
From beginning to end, Long Way Down is pure perfection. It is the last book in the Calloway Sisters series, and as Daisy and Ryke’s romance continues, Krista and Becca Ritchie repeatedly hit you with all the feels. This story is packed with warmth and heartache; drama and suspense; humor and joy. It’s a close call, but Daisy and Ryke are still my favorite couple. Their journey completely captivated me.
I originally gave this book 3.5 stars, but I upgraded it to 4 stars after sleeping on it, and here’s why. Motion, the first book in the Laws of Physics series, sets an infectious tone of both humor and suspense. The second book, Space, is achingly emotional. Time: Laws of Physics 3, while very enjoyable, is not the gripping conclusion I was anticipating.
Fuel the Fire reinforces what I already knew: Rose and Connor Cobalt are a formidable, badass couple. I’m devouring these two series!
A great “meet cute” is one of my favorite parts of a romance novel. If you’re not familiar with the term, a “meet cute” is the sweet or humorous way in which two main characters first meet. This book has a fun yet awkward meet cute, as well as a really charming story.
Welcome back, Lily and Lo. Not that they’ve gone too far, but it was nice returning to a story that is centered on them.
Hothouse Flower is my favorite book so far in the Addicted and Calloway Sisters series. I’m so glad I decided to read the two series together and in the suggested order. The characters are so deeply intertwined and the timeline is crucial to getting a complete picture.
I’ve got an extra paperback ARC of THE BOOKISH LIFE OF NINA HILL by Abbi Waxman in my hot little hands. It could be yours. Isn’t the cover cute? The story is about an introverted book nerd who is forced to leave her comfort zone.
Krista and Becca Ritchie’s books tend to be on the long side. Kiss the Sky is nearly 450 pages and the audiobook is 14 hours long. I never once felt bored, though, or wanted to story to move faster. In fact, the end is so swoony and satisfying I didn’t want it to end. Talk about getting a bang for your buck!
Now we’re getting somewhere! Addicted for Now was a far more enjoyable read for me than Addicted to You. Giving a series another chance even though the first book didn’t meet all your expectations can really pay off.
After Motion left me hanging, I could not wait to get my hands on Space! The story picks up over two years later, and my how Abram and Mona have changed.
