Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is Books On My Summer 2022 To-Read List. Summer is my time for pleasure reads. I typically limit the number of ARCs so that I’m free to read whatever I want, whenever I want, without having to be on a schedule. I’ve got a variety of books I’m looking forward to reading. It should be interesting to see which ones I actually read.
There’s a whole lot of goodness packed into Sweet Dreams. You’ve got a wonderful small biker town set in the Rockies, a murder mystery, suspense, danger, romance, grudges, and surprises—all centered around a transplanted socialite and an alpha male to end all alphas.
When It Falls Apart is a touching romance about forgiveness, perseverance, and family bonds.
Lucy Score is the reigning queen of small town rom coms! Maggie Moves On is the feel-good escape I’ve been waiting for. If you’re looking for a great vacation read, look no further.
I’m pleased to say this series hasn’t lost its momentum and I really enjoyed The Redhead Revealed, the second installment.
Jewel E. Ann has revealed the gorgeous cover for Pieces of a Life, part 1 of a new duet in The Life Series! The first duet completely blew. my. mind. I can’t wait for this book!
It’s difficult for me to review The Unidentified Redhead because comedy is perhaps the most highly subjective of all genres. I can only summarize my own personal opinion in a few words. Freaking hilarious. Entertaining characters. Sexy. Fun. Bawdy. Steamy. Captivating. Utter perfection. Take it for what it’s worth. This was a difficult topic for me because the majority of the books I’ve read have epilogues, with the exception of mysteries and thrillers. I had to dig deep in my library to find a handful of books that don’t have an epilogue, so I’m amending this post to include books I wish had a lengthier epilogue.

So Not Meant To Be is a highly enjoyable enemies-to-lovers story told with Meghan Quinn’s signature humor and sizzle.

This is the first book by Farrah Rochon that I’ve read, and while The Dating Playbook didn’t wow me, I appreciated the humor and the message of female empowerment. It’s particularly refreshing that the story features smart, independent black women.
