This is the first book by Farrah Rochon that I’ve read, and while The Dating Playbook didn’t wow me, I appreciated the humor and the message of female empowerment. It’s particularly refreshing that the story features smart, independent black women.
Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is Comfort Reads. I’ve borrowed a couple from my public library but had to return them because I just couldn’t get to them in time.
Say You Want Me was a perfectly fine, middle of the road read for me.
