Favorite Books of 2019
Maybe I’m just going through a picky phase, but 2019 was the Year of the Great Book Slump for me. While there were many books I enjoyed reading, only a handful of new releases wowed me enough to earn five stars. Here are ten of my favorite books of 2019.

Unloved serves up angst on a silver platter, which was perfect for me because I was in the mood for some heavy drama. This is not a warm and fuzzy story.

I am happy to say that the second book in the All the King’s Men Duet does not disappoint. In fact, I think I enjoyed it more than The Kingmaker. The Rebel King is filled with action, heartache, and aching tenderness.

In fact, I wasn’t sure The Kingmaker would appeal to me, but knowing what a versatile storyteller Kennedy Ryan is, I was excited to see what she had up her sleeves. What she produced utterly dazzled me.
