Review: All the Dangerous Things by Stacy Willingham
All the Dangerous Things shows just how chilling sleep disorders can be.

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is Bookish People I’d Like to Meet. I’ve been very fortunate to attend quite a few book signings, so I’ve met the majority of my unicorn authors. There are still a few bucket list authors that I’d love to meet, though.
Sarina Bowen strikes gold again with The New Guy, a M/M hockey romance that is a pure delight from beginning to end.
Happy Valentine’s Day, and welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week is a Valentine’s Day freebie, so I’ve chosen to highlight Books with “Love” in the Title.
I had an itch for a planned pregnancy romance, and The Rake scratched it quite nicely.
Before Us proves once again that Jewel E. Ann is Queen of the Feels. Evidently, one romance wasn’t enough for her. Instead, there are two completely different but equally breathtaking love stories that entranced me with their tenderness.
Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week is a freebie, and my chosen topic is Favorite Audiobook Narrators. When I first started listening to audiobooks I didn’t care for them. Either the narrator’s voice was annoying or just didn’t fit the character, or the acting was flat. I soon discovered that not all narrators are created equal and that vocal performance is a real gift. I have many go-to narrators now. Here are just ten of my favorites.
Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2022. I still have my trusty one-click authors, but I really tried to give debut authors and new-to-me authors a try last year. I read far more than 10 new authors, but these are the ones that stick out in my mind. Lucy Score – Things We Never Got Over, Rock Bottom Girl, and Maggie Moves On Freida McFadden – The Housemaid Annabel Monaghan – Nora Goes Off Script Bonnie Garmus – Lessons in Chemistry Katherine Center – The Bodyguard Julie Clark – The Lies I Tell Carly Fortune – Every Summer After Lauren Forsythe – The Fixer Upper Catherine Bybee – When It Falls Apart and Be Your Everything Farrah Rochon – The Dating Playbook and The Hookup Plan
Spare is a poignant, fascinating, exceedingly well-written memoir. Prince Harry offers an intimate account of his decades-long struggle with grief following the death of his mother, as well his search for purpose as someone other than the spare to brother Prince William’s heir.
Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2023. There are so many books I am excited to read that are releasing between now and June. I had a hard time narrowing my list down to just ten!
Bless you, Marni Mann! The addictive Dalton Brothers series now includes the extended Dalton family. Hannah, the Dalton brothers’ cousin, charmed me in The Single Dad, and I was curious about her antagonistic relationship with her boss. The Intern breaks it all down in an engaging way, with a hefty dose of Mann’s signature sizzling heat.
L.J. Shen books have been hit or miss for me recently, but I’m so glad I gave The Villain a chance. It’s one of her better enemies turned lovers stories.
