Lisa Renee Jones pulls out all the stops in this romantic suspense that’s full of intrigue, passion, and power plays.
This is Love was a recent 5-star read for me by debut author Caroline Nolan. I’d love for you to have a chance to read this touching story, so we’re giving away a signed paperback.
This is the third book I’ve read by Renée Carlino, and I must say she knows how to weave an intriguing tale. In Swear on This Life, she has created a unique story that is engrossing as well as thought-provoking.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far! July was a month of fun family time, but I still managed to carve out some reading time. I read some fabulous books this month—especially So Much More by Kim Holden, Anything But Minor by Kate Stewart, Broken Prince by Erin Watt, and This Is Love by Caroline Nolan. Very rarely I’ll come across a book I don’t finish, but you won’t find them listed here because I don’t rate them. I do share all my opinions on Goodreads, though, so feel free to follow me on Goodreads. Here’s a list of books reviewed in July 2016.
R.S. Grey certainly knows how to feed my sports romance addiction—not to mention my Summer Olympics obsession. In Out of Bounds she takes the sport of competitive gymnastics, adds in a fabulous enemies to lovers scenario, tons of heat, and a touch of forbidden romance, and—voilà—you’ve got a winning combination.
Meghan March serves up another winning addition to the Beneath series with Beneath These Chains. This is the third book in the series, and it’s filled with intrigue and suspense, plus all the steam I’ve come to expect from Ms. March. This story is about Lord—Con’s brother—and Elle—Vanessa’s best friend from Beneath This Ink.
Admittedly, I’m sports romantic comedy junkie, and I’m proud of it! My two most recent favorites are Anything But Minor by Kate Stewart and One by Jewel E. Ann. They’re both available now, and I’d love to give a reader a Kindle copy of their choice. Just head on over to the Facebook page to enter the giveaway.
Vi Keeland delivers a solid forbidden office romance in this enjoyable standalone. I’m used to bosses being jerks in these types of stories, but Bossman exceeded my expectations by featuring a unique and alluring hero.
We’re celebrating the release of STROKED by Meghan Quinn!
Lauren Blakely delivers another winner in this spin-off of Big Rock. Mister O is hilarious, naughty, and delightfully sweet. Yes, this is a “best friend’s sister” love story, but the humor and affection prevent it from being just another forbidden romance.
In an era when insta-love tends to be the norm rather than the exception, I really appreciate romances that deliver a slow burn. Kulti—which I adored— has that in spades, and now with The Wall of Winnipeg and Me I think it’s safe to say that Mariana Zapata is the queen of slow burn.
