Aced by K. Bromberg is now available!
*sigh* I’m not sure what to say. I liked the premise and appreciated the characters, but this did not work for me at all and it’s difficult to pinpoint why.
Dear Penny Reid, We need to have a “Come to Jesus” talk. Don’t EVER make me fall in love with characters, get me fully engaged in their story, and then end a book abruptly—with a freaking cliffhanger no less—WHEN MY KINDLE SAYS I’M ONLY 85% INTO THE BOOK!! (Yes, shouty capitals and exclamation points are necessary.)
If you haven’t read End of Day and Middle of Knight – the first two books in the Jack & Jill trilogy by Jewel E. Ann – you are seriously missing out. This series has one of the most unique premises I’ve ever read, and both books made my Top 10 of 2015 list. I’ve been anxiously awaiting the conclusion, Dawn of Forever, and we finally have a cover, blurb and release date! Check it out.
Check out the gorgeous cover for Blind Reality by Heidi McLaughlin scheduled for release on February 2nd. I’ve also got an excerpt for you. A romantic comedy and reality TV? Sign me up!
This is the third and final installment in the Dirty Billionaire trilogy. If you liked the previous two books, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
I’m so flippin’ excited to read this book! I love sports romantic comedies, and this one sounds hilarious. The Baller releases January 18th, but I’ve got a sneak peek to whet your appetite. “Maybe love, at its essence, is being a mirror for another person—for the good parts and the bad. Perhaps love is simply finding that one person who sees you clearly, cares for you deeply, challenges you and supports you, and subsequently helps you see and be your true self.”
Appealed is the third book in the Legal Briefs series, and I’ve really been looking forward to Brent’s story. I fully expected to love it, especially after falling madly in love with the previous book, Sustained. Appealed isn’t the slam-dunk I hoped it would be, but it’s still highly enjoyable. It’s a friends to enemies to lovers story that cleverly combines two popular tropes.
Release: January 19th 2015 Blurb: My life is a secret. His life is dangerous. We’re both stubborn, calculating, and controlling. Mark Dixon doesn’t know what he’s getting into. He doesn’t know his games could cost us our lives. I have to do what is necessary to keep us alive, and that means guarding my heart. But I know I’m defenseless against him, and in the end, he’ll force me to surrender.
I’m so excited I could pee myself. We finally have the blurb for Us, the sequel to the widely popular Him, and it sounds amazing! I want to read it right now. Unfortunately, I guess I’ll have to be patient until it releases March 8, 2016.
