It’s official. I am unequivocally addicted to the Sinners of Saint series. After reading the first book, Vicious, I suspected I’d found a new favorite series. Ruckus sealed the deal.
Emma Scott, What have you done to me? The feels! Oh my gosh, the feels upon feels in this book! I’ve lost the ability to even. Forever Right Now is raw emotion wrapped tightly in a cocoon of pure tenderness.
What is this I’m feeling? That would be all the feels. All. The. Feels. Still is the dynamic conclusion to Grip and Bristol’s love story, and to say it consumed me would be an inadequate tribute to Kennedy Ryan’s writing. I’m still in recovery mode.
Ghosted deserves all the stars in the galaxy plus those yet to be discovered. This book utterly consumed me, and I have zero guilt for shutting out everyone and everything while I devoured it.
Let me cut right to the chase. I. Loved. This. Story. All the books in the Winston Brothers series are highly entertaining, but I think this one might be my favorite. Beard in Mind contains all the humor that I associate with the series; however, at the center is a complexity that is marvelously atypical.
Let’s face it. A gorgeous and caring man who keeps you company 24/7 and guards every inch of your body like it’s his job—which it absolutely is—is all kinds of sexy. Bonus: he bakes a mean pie. By the end of this book I was channeling my inner Whitney Houston à la The Bodyguard and belting out, “And i-e-i will always love-you-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-i will always love you.” I fell hard for bodyguard Logan St. James. He totally kicks Kevin Costner’s ass!
6 stars! Hello, Book Hangover, my old nemesis. I have no idea how you improve upon perfection, but The Brightest Sunset is even better than the first book in the Darkest Sunrise duet. That’s really saying something because The Darkest Sunrise was a 6-star read for me. This book? This book deserves all the stars in the universe.
I loved The Bird and the Sword so hard, and I’m amazed that The Queen and the Cure filled me with equal joy. Once again, Amy Harmon spins a tantalizing tale of love, bravery, sacrifice, and magic. She just may turn me into a lover of romantic fantasy after all.
6 stars My heart is literally pounding in my chest right now. I’m not kidding when I say I just had to take a Xanax. Aly Martinez nailed it with this gripping story that takes you on an inspirational, breathtakingly emotional journey and never lets you go.
When Life Happened is one of Jewel E. Ann’s strongest novels to date, and that’s really saying something. I’ve been a huge fan of her masterful storytelling, so it should not come as a surprise that this addictive book left me conflicted and entirely enthralled.
