Review: The Coincidence of Coconut Cake by Amy E. Reichert
3 stars? 2.5 stars? I struggled with rating The Coincidence of Coconut Cake because my opinion depends on how I categorize the book.

I am a fan of Kennedy Ryan’s work, and I have a weakness for sports romances. When I found out Long Shot isn’t a comedy like most books in the genre, I was intrigued. Another selling point is that it takes place in the world of profession basketball; whereas, the majority of sports romances I’ve read are related to hockey, football, or baseball. That combination should have made Long Shot a slam dunk for me, but I found myself liking rather than loving it.
Christina Lauren, what have you done to me??? I am a hot mess right now. I’m talking about ALL the feels, ya’ll. Love and Other Words is an adult contemporary romance that is equal parts coming of age, friends becoming lovers, loss and heartache, and second chance romance—all combined in one potent fictional cocktail. It is 100% amazing!
I haven’t read very many Kristen Ashley books, but I can see why she’s such a popular author. She has a way of seamlessly weaving multiple characters together into an entertaining plot. Ride Steady is a great example of this.
Re-read for the Ultimate Reading Challenge 2018. Re-released with a new cover in 2016. Still 5 stars! I was extremely moved by Archer’s Voice when I read it three years ago. At the time, I didn’t hesitate to place it on my Favorites bookshelf. I was scared to re-read it, though, because I know my tastes as a reader tend to change. I shouldn’t have worried because I loved it every bit as hard as I did the first time.
Prince Charming is CD Reiss’s latest dive into the world of digital espionage. At the center is an ambitious FBI agent and a shady hacker.
Scandalous is the third book in L.J. Shen’s Sinners of Saint series, and it’s every bit as addictive, unpredictable, and scorching hot as the previous books. I feel like I’m being redundant gushing about this series.
It’s official. I am unequivocally addicted to the Sinners of Saint series. After reading the first book, Vicious, I suspected I’d found a new favorite series. Ruckus sealed the deal.
So many people have told me how wonderful L.J. Shen’s writing is. I finally decided to see for myself, and Vicious seemed like a good place to start. After chapter one, I was completely mesmerized.
I’ve always claimed that I’m not a big fan of MC (Motorcycle Club) books, but hot dang if I’m not utterly in love with the Signal Bend series. All the Sky is the fifth book in the series, and I was happy to be reunited with the Night Horde bikers.
I had the pleasure of reading an advance copy of Temporary by Sarina Bowen and Sarah Mayberry, and I had the opportunity to ask them a few questions as well. Read on for my review and interview.
I love it when I come across a book that pulls on my heartstrings in the best possible way. I know when I pick up a Renée Carlino book that it will have the perfect blend of inspiration and suffering, as well as a fluid writing style. Wish You Were Here is no exception.
