All I Am is a quick and sexy little spin off of Jodi Ellen Malpas’s wildly successful This Man series. The plot centers around Drew in this story. It’s been so long since I’ve read the trilogy that I completely forgot who Drew was at first, but there’s enough exposition that your memory will be easily refreshed. FYI, Drew is one of Jesse’s two best mates.
911, I’ve got a situation. You see, what had happened was I was reading Dirty Rowdy Thing by Christina Lauren and my Kindle spontaneously combusted. Like, we’re talking flames shot out of that bad boy, and now my bedroom is covered in a thick cloud of smoke and my comforter is charred. In my defense, the book really should have come with some kind of warning about explosively erotic scenes so I would have had my fire extinguisher on hand. Just sayin’.
The love story of Ripley and Boone that began in Real Dirty concludes in Real Sexy. I loved the first book, and I’m happy to say that this book doesn’t disappoint. This is my favorite Meghan March duet so far.

I know, I know. I gave a rather scathing review of Debt Inheritance, so why on Earth did I read First Debt? Apparently I’m a glutton for punishment because I decided to give this book a chance when I saw it was available at the library. I figured I had nothing to lose except maybe some of my precious reading time, because…free. Oh, and it was the audio book version so…bonus!
I admit I was nervous that American Prince wouldn’t live up to the amazing angst fest that is American Queen. I needn’t have worried. Sierra Simone delivers a stunning tour de force with this follow-up, and my mind is still reeling.
Dark romance may not be at the top of my list of favorite genres, but I’ve read several that I quite enjoyed. Ones with characters I could relate to and relationships that I could ultimately root for even when those relationships were rather twisted. I think maybe I’m just not cut out for this particular style of brutal dark romance.
One With You is the fifth and final book in the Crossfire series, and frankly I’m surprised I enjoyed it so much. Let’s just say I was less than pleased with the previous book, Captivated by You. The series seemed to be going downhill fast. Then Sylvia Day made us wait for-freaking-ever for this last installment which really irritated me. There was about a year and a half between the release of Captivated by You and this book. That’s a long-ass time! I have the world’s crappiest memory. I have a hard time remembering the details of books I read last month, let alone over a year ago. Yeah, so I was prepared for a rather mediocre conclusion to a story I barely recalled. Quelle surprise! I liked it.

This is one of those rare cases where I liked the conclusion to a duet better than the first book. The small cliffhanger from the previous book is addressed right away, and I’m happy to say Banner and Logan handle things in an adult manner so it doesn’t result in extended unnecessary drama. The story unfolds at a quick pace with different side plots to capture your interest.
Virtuous is the first book in the Quantum trilogy. The series came highly recommended so this is the first time I’ve gone into a book completely blind. I didn’t read a single review or even the book blurb beforehand. Having since read the book description, it perfectly summarizes the entire plot. Surprisingly, there aren’t many other major events that occur.
