Audiobook Review: Down Shift by K. Bromberg
I’m a fan of the Driven series by K. Bromberg, and Down Shift makes a nice addition. You’ve got two strong main characters, each of whom are at a crossroads in their lives. Zander is forced to face his past and evaluate his priorities when his reckless behavior puts him dangerously close crashing and burning. Getty needs to find independence and confidence after escaping an abusive past.

Bullying is something that’s unfortunately very prevalent among youths. Regardless of whether it’s subtle or blatant, verbal, physical, and cyber bullying is degrading, humiliating, and devastating for the victim. I was intrigued by how extreme bullying could start—seemingly out of the blue—between two people who were once inseparable best friends and destined to be more.
Review: Rookie Move by Sarina Bowen
I love Sarina Bowen’s work and was super excited to learn she was releasing a new sports romance series. I had high expectations for Rookie Move. Unfortunately, this one was a bit of a letdown for me.
Review: All In by Emma Scott
Oh the feels! I’ve lost the ability to even with this book. Full Tilt left me wrecked in the most wonderful way and set the bar very high for All In which is the second book in the Full Tilt duet. If Emma Scott was aiming to destroy my emotions once again, target achieved.

Long story short, on the whole I enjoyed Mile High more than the previous one. It’s pretty close to 4 stars. I’m a sappy romantic, so I loved seeing Bianca nurtured and showered with affection.

One piece of advice before reading this book: buckle up. Scarlet Stone dished up every conceivable emotion and then completely obliterated my senses. Even when my emotions were tied in knots, I reveled in this spellbinding, original story.
