Audiobook Review: Book Lovers by Emily Henry
As a voracious reader who enjoys romance novels, reading a love story about an editor and a publicist was a no-brainer. Book Lovers is a little slice of bookworm heaven.

After reading It Happened One Summer, I was excited to learn more about Hannah, Piper’s sister, as well as Fox, Brendan’s best friend. While there are elements of Hook, Line, and Sinker that I truly enjoyed, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a tad bit disappointed in the characters. Well, one in particular.
Say You Want Me was a perfectly fine, middle of the road read for me.
Starry-Eyed Love is the second book in the Spark House series, and it’s my favorite so far. It is heartwarming with the perfect touch of whimsy.
Abby Jimenez has rapidly become an auto-buy author for me. It’s hard to believe she wrote her debut novel just three years ago. I’ve enjoyed every single one of her books, but Part of Your World is one of my favorites.
Boyfriend Material was a rave hit a couple years ago, and I finally got around to listening to it. I quite enjoyed this fake dating romance.
Ten Trends to Seduce Your Bestfriend knocked my socks off with its unique and highly entertaining take on fake dating and enemies turned lovers scenarios.
Confused, confounded, befuddled, perplexed. That pretty much sums up my feelings about A Shadow in the Ember, book one in the Flesh and Fire series. It seems like everyone LOVES this book, so clearly I’m in the minority. Granted, I haven’t read the Blood and Ash series, to which I now know this book is a prequel. Since this is the first book in a new series, though, I assume it could stand alone.
Royally Remembered is a great companion to the Royally series. It’s been awhile since I last spent time with the Wessco Royal Family, and while I think this novella would best be enjoyed if read right after the previous books, I still liked it. In fact, it made me want to go back and re-read the series.
I only recently discovered Lucy Score, but I am loving her brand of small town romantic comedies! Rock Bottom Girl features a kooky underdog heroine you can’t help but root for.
I was so excited to finally get my hands on The Difference Between Someday and Forever. I had big expectations for the conclusion of the gripping Difference Trilogy. Perhaps too big.
The cover of Beauty and the Baller caught my eye, the synopsis made me instantly want to read the book, and the story kept my romantic heart entertained throughout.
