I read Forever My Girl as part of the Ultimate Reading Challenge to read a book that has been adapted into a movie. I have to wonder if this is one of those rare cases where the movie is better than the book because the book just didn’t do it for me.
Frankly, I’m amazed by how much I’ve enjoyed every single Emma Chase book I’ve read—and by now I believe I’ve gone through her entire body of work. The winning streak continues with Getting Schooled. I brought this book with me on vacation, and I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect beach read. It’s pure hilarity and romance, without an ounce of silly conflicts to spoil the good times.
Wow. I am blown away by how much I enjoyed this book. I’m an anomaly—one of those readers who was never impressed with Jesse Ward. In fact, he really irritated me in the first two books in the series. Well, he finally won me over big time in With This Man.
The Varlet and the Voyeur is the final book in the Rugby series—a collection of romantic comedies written by L.H. Cosway and Penny Reid that are intended to make readers fall in love with a bunch of Irish meatheads and the unique women who redeem them. Their efforts have been successful, by the way.
I’m not sure what I expected from my first Tessa Bailey book, but Getaway Girl totally knocked me on my booty. I was unprepared for this romance to be so funny, addictive, and hawt!

The Kiss Quotient is Helen Hoang’s debut novel, and she slays the heck out of it. I was hoping for a nice feel-good romantic comedy, but I feel like I won the lottery. This book is complete perfection—every single sentence.
I can’t seem to get enough of Helena Hunting’s Shacking Up world. I Flipping Love You is the third standalone in the series, and with its sexy humor and sassy females, it fits right in.
