I have liked Emily Henry’s previous books, despite their tendency to be overhyped. I was pleasantly surprised that Happy Place exceeded my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed this heartfelt tale.

Someone, please book me a trip to Madigan Mountain, STAT! I was so excited to finally get my hands on The Difference Between Someday and Forever. I had big expectations for the conclusion of the gripping Difference Trilogy. Perhaps too big.

Totally Folked is the first book in the Good Folk: Modern Folktales series, and it took me completely by surprise in the best possible way. The first book in a series usually sets the tone, and Totally Folked is far more entertaining than I expected.
I really liked this second-chance bodyguard romance, but the audiobook narration for Code Name: Genesis took my enjoyment to the next level.
Getting a 5-star review from me these days is like drawing water from a stone. For Lucy, though, had me captivated from Chapter One, and I knew in my soul that I was on the road to 5 stars.
