Where the Blame Lies is unlike any Mia Sheridan book I’ve read before, and I liked it. I really liked it. There’s enough detail to convey the horror of the victim’s situation, to develop a connection to her and maintain the suspense, but not so gory that it’s unbearably painful to read.
I pulled an all-nighter reading The Lion’s Den. Yes, there’s some over the top drama and questionable character choices, but it’s deliciously addictive! I have the dark circles under my eyes to prove it. I would not have guessed this is Katherine St. John’s debut novel.
The conclusion of the Life Duet is every bit as riveting as I anticipated. The Life You Stole is twisted and dark on a totally different level than book one. I feel like I’ve been emotionally pummeled.
I have been in a romantic suspense mood lately, and Say You’re Sorry is a darned good one.
I don’t even know how to write this review. Because Verity? Well, that is some Grade A phenomenal whatthefuckery right there.
This book, you guys! Talk about one messed up read. Guess what, though? I enjoyed Do Not Disturb more than the first book, The Girl in 6E. I know, I know. You’re not supposed to like a sociopath like Deanna, but tell it to my foolish heart because I loved every inch of this complicated, dangerous, unstable bad ass woman.
The Girl in 6E is incredibly unique, so props to A.R. Torre (Alessandra Torre’s pseudonym) for creativity alone. Talk about an edgy thriller!
Holy crap on a cracker! If you look up “page-turner” in the dictionary, I’m fairly confident Retrieval is one of the definitions. If not, then it should be. This. Book. Is. Effing. Amazing.
