I’m an unabashed sports romance junkie even though some of them aren’t very original. Jen Frederick has a knack for writing new adult sports romances that manage to avoid being formulaic. Downed is the third book in the enjoyable Gridiron series, and it does not disappoint.
Maybe in Another Life is the third book I’ve read by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and I can safely say that I’ve become an avid fan. In this book she weaves a unique story that explores how one brief moment can drastically alter the path a person’s life takes.
These tearjerkers are going to be the death of me! Full Tilt is an exceptional one, however, and I’m so glad I was willing let it wreck me because it has more to offer than just heartache.
I think my rating for In Flight might be higher had I read the book a few years ago. You have a dominant, enigmatic, gorgeous billionaire who refuses to date. You also have a 23-year-old virgin who has never even had a boyfriend, but gets lured into the billionaire’s hardcore BDSM lifestyle. The story loses some of its freshness in the post-Fifty Shades of Grey era, but there are enough differences to keep things interesting.
Big Rock was the first book I’d read by Lauren Blakely, and I instantly became a fan. While not officially called a series, she has written a collection of unique and enjoyable spin-off standalones since then. Well Hung is part of that assortment, and it’s equally charming, witty, and oh so sexy.
I can’t believe The Hating Game is Sally Thorne’s first novel. This book is such a joy from beginning to end. It has all the makings of a great enemies to lovers romance: a quirky, smart, sweet but lonely girl; a gorgeous, intelligent but antagonistic hero; tons of banter and bickering; hilarious shenanigans; and a slow burn. However, it’s the execution of the refreshing plot that makes this story so lovely.
Out of Bounds is a novella, which admittedly isn’t my favorite type of book. However, it’s a sports romance and it’s written by Lauren Blakely, so reading this was a no brainer. The book is signature Lauren Blakely—fun, flirty, and sexy.
Just when I think Kate Stewart can’t do any better, she manages to prove me wrong. I was a massive fan of her previous book, Anything But Minor, so this one had fairly large shoes to fill. Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit if I didn’t enjoy Major Love just as much, if not more.
I still don’t know exactly how I feel about All the Ugly and Wonderful Things, and that’s okay with me. Brynn Greenwood has given birth to an exceptional story that is complex, provocative, and stirring. At the same time, it is uncomfortable and emotionally conflicting. I will say this: You can’t form an opinion about this book strictly based on the blurb.
We are excited to bring you the covers for USA Today bestselling author Meghan March’s sexy new Real Duet. We’ve all had the bad boys, now it’s time for a Real Good Man.
I’ve been looking forward to reading MAJOR LOVE by Kate Stewart, and it’s now live!
