It’s difficult for me to review The Unidentified Redhead because comedy is perhaps the most highly subjective of all genres. I can only summarize my own personal opinion in a few words. Freaking hilarious. Entertaining characters. Sexy. Fun. Bawdy. Steamy. Captivating. Utter perfection. Take it for what it’s worth. Recommended for fans of: Romantic Comedy Hollywood Age Gap Romance Steamy, hilarious sexy times
89 pages packed full of perfection! One More Round is like one big nuanced and completely satisfying epilogue to Caroline and Simon’s love story. It’s been at least five years since I read the books that made me a fan so some of the details were fuzzy, but this novella does a superb job interweaving key highlights without it sounding like mundane exposition.
Once again, I must declare a mea culpa. I read Rusty Nailed, which is the follow-up to Alice Clayton’s Wallbanger, five years ago but neglected to post the review when I started this blog. I’m making up for it now by publishing my old review of Rusty Nailed.
It’s been years since I read Wallbanger. It’s one of my favorite books by Alice Clayton, and I can’t believe my review has been hanging out on Goodreads and I never posted it, or my review for the follow-up, Rusty Nailed, on the blog. I’m correcting this travesty immediately. So, without further ado, I present my review from five years ago!
Alice Clayton returns to the delightful upstate New York town of Bailey Falls in this third installment of her Hudson Valley series. Her writing has always appealed to me, and once again I found myself wrapped up in a sweet love story.
One of my favorite romantic comedy authors, Alice Clayton, teamed up with debut author Nina Bocci to write Roman Crazy. The result is a warm second chance romance and wonderful travel guide all rolled into one.

Alice Clayton is best known for her popular Cocktail series and Redhead series, the later of which sits firmly on my “favorites” bookshelf. So when I found out she was writing a new series, I admit I started fangirling just a wee bit. Okay, a lot, but then I gave myself a reality check. Angela, I thought—my little freak out session had temporarily caused me to refer to myself in the third person, you see—calm the heck down and don’t get your hopes up. I’m sure it’s incredibly hard for an author to meet readers’ expectations once the bar of excellence has been set. Well, I’m happy to say Ms. Clayton hasn’t lost her creative mojo. Nuts is funny, sassy, and altogether charming.
