He stirs my desires, a dark, delicious, and dangerous man destined to hurt me and leave me. This time I’m not sure I'll survive.
I’m trying to find something nice to say but I’ve got nothin’. There’s a whole lot wrong here, but I have two main complaints…
- It’s a classic case of insta love, but without any chemistry.
- The writing is exceedingly repetitive. There isn’t a missed opportunity for Savage to call himself a killer or threaten to kill someone, for Candace to remind Savage that he’s been gone for eight years, for Savage to explain that he left to protect her, or for Savage to reassure her that he’ll never leave her again.
I managed to finish Savage Hunter only to realize it is the first book in a trilogy. I can’t fathom dragging this story out for two more books.
