HOW CAN IT BE WRONG IF IT FEELS SO GOOD
Dating an American princess comes with a massive amount of baggage–all of which I’m willing to carry strapped on my back in quicksand and through seven hells. But Jane Cobalt’s baggage, I’m unprepared for. It comes in the form of her five equally famous and notoriously hard-to-please brothers.
I want Jane.
Completely.
Unconditionally. But when there’s a trip scheduled that I can’t be a part of, I only have one option. It’s immoral. Something I’d never consider until now.
But, hell, there’s got to be some perks to being a twin. So I’m doing it. I’m switching places with my brother.
Done and done.
It should have been easy.
There were little consequences.
Until the storm hit.
The Like Us series is a true series, one continuous timeline, that follows a family of wealthy celebrities and the people that protect them. It must be read in the following order:
The Like Us Series Reading Order:
1. Damaged Like Us (Maximoff & Farrow)
2. Lovers Like Us (Maximoff & Farrow)
3. Alphas Like Us (Maximoff & Farrow)
4. Tangled Like Us (Jane & Thatcher)
5. Sinful Like Us (Jane & Thatcher)
6. Headstrong Like Us (Maximoff & Farrow)
7. Charming Like Us (Oscar & Jack)
8. Wild Like Us (Akara & Sulli & Banks)
I can’t seem to get enough of the younger Hale, Cobalt, and Meadows clan and their bodyguards. Sinful Like Us continues the story of Jane Cobalt’s affair with her bodyguard, Thatcher Moretti. I must say I enjoyed this more than Tangled Like Us.
Who doesn’t love a good snowstorm and the accompanying blanket of quiet, hot cocoa, and a solid excuse to relax and escape from reality for a bit? Being snowed in for over a month, though, can test anyone’s sanity – even when trapped with loved ones, but especially with people carrying grudges. This scene creates the perfect opportunity highlight the various relationships.
I’m not a big lover of twin switch deception in general. In this particular case, I wasn’t convinced it was really necessary for Thatcher and Banks to switch places. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the opportunity for Jane and Thatcher to strengthen their bond, even if it means sneaking around. The risk of being caught in a lie adds an element of excitement – or, in my case, anxiety.
Thatcher is unwavering in his devotion to Jane. The man is a bottomless well of patience, which is much needed because Jane has a serious case of insecurities. I understood some of her fears, but at the same time the way she constantly pushes Thatcher away and then clings to him grows tiresome at times. There is no denying their intense chemistry, though.
Along with the seemingly never-ending blizzard, the story also starts to drag. I was happy to see the plot pick up steam when the crew returns home. There are some pretty exciting, dramatic, and life-altering moments.
Sinful Like Us is a solid addition to the series. The next book, Headstrong Like Us, cannot come soon enough. I am beyond excited for Maximoff and Farrow’s wedding!

Great review! I enjoyed this one, too. That snowstorm thing reminded me of Rose’s books for some reason. I think it was the whole everyone together in one house thing.
