Brooke Blaine is rapidly becoming a 1-click author for me. She proves why once again with A Little Bit Like Love, a second chance M/M romance that hit all the right notes with me. An ill-fated couple with incredible chemistry? Definitely. Heart? In abundance. Angst? You’ve got it. Colorful supporting characters with humor? Check. An antagonist you love to hate? Oh yeah.
Hello Forever is another example of just how sweet and real Sarina Bowen’s M/M romances are. That’s not to say there’s no heat, but the focus is on the emotional connection between the main characters.
Oh, Ace and Dylan. How I love these guys. The romance between the action movie superstar and the supermodel has been a long and sometimes bumpy journey. I have been patiently waiting for them to have their Happy Ever After, and Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank finally give it to them.
Sometimes the hardest book reviews for me to write are for the books I enjoy the most. I fell truly, madly, deeply in love with Goodbye Paradise by Sarina Bowen, and even though I’ve spent a day trying to find something insightful to say, basically all I’ve got is that you should read this book.
I admit I was nervous that American Prince wouldn’t live up to the amazing angst fest that is American Queen. I needn’t have worried. Sierra Simone delivers a stunning tour de force with this follow-up, and my mind is still reeling.
I fell crazy in love with this book! I don’t read very much M/M, but when I do I’m fond of the gay man falling for the straight guy scenario. There’s just something intriguing about chasing a straight man who is denying his true desires. Such is case in The Spiral Down when the openly gay rock superstar, Henry Alexander, sets his sights on the clearly straight pilot, Evan Roth.
This was my first dip in the LGBT pool if you will, and I think I made good choice. It’s sweet, funny, sexy as hell, and has zero drama—basically everything I look for in a light romance—only with dudes.
