Blog Tour, Review & Giveaway: Epoch by Jewel E. Ann

Book duets can be a risky business. Expectations are high when the first book is well received. Transcend was easily a 5-star read for me, so Epoch had huge shoes to fill. Jewel E. Ann makes it look easy because Epoch stole my breath time and again. I put my real life on pause while I indulged in every single absorbing page. Eating is so overrated anyway.

Blog Tour & Review: The Brightest Sunset by Aly Martinez

6 stars!  Hello, Book Hangover, my old nemesis. I have no idea how you improve upon perfection, but The Brightest Sunset is even better than the first book in the Darkest Sunrise duet. That’s really saying something because The Darkest Sunrise was a 6-star read for me. This book? This book deserves all the stars in the universe.

Review: In Dark Woods by Susan Fanetti

Review: In Dark Woods by Susan Fanetti

Wow, this novella packs one hell of a punch. If you’ve been reading the series, it’s absolutely crucial that you read this book. The story is told from Isaac and Lilli’s points of view, and starts by filling in the missing pieces from events that took place in Bart’s book, Alone on Earth. I needed the reminder of just how amazing Lilli and Isaac are together, and the strength of their unconditional love. Although this wrung just about every emotion out of me, the storyline wraps up nicely in preparation for the next book.

I love the Signal Bend series. Susan Fanetti has a way of keeping me on edge whenever I read her books. I know I can never get too complacent because she will rip the rug right out from under my feet in a heartbeat. This isn’t your mama’s cute little oh-look-I-found-me-a-sweet-bearded-biker-let’s-ride-off-into-the-sunset romance series. It’s raw, passionate, and gut wrenching, and I can’t get enough of it. Alone on Earth tells Bart’s story.

“Love is reckless because true emotions are immune to logic. The most beautiful love stories are often the most tragic.” Jewel E. Ann has officially become an auto-buy author for me. The first book in her Jack & Jill series, End of Day, completely blew me away and was a rare 5 star read for me. Middle of Knight proves just how addictive this trilogy is.

Review: Move the Sun by Susan Fanetti

I take it back; I like biker books after all. I’ve heard Susan Fanetti’s praises sung over and over, so I was eager to read one of her books. A friend suggested I start with this one, but I don’t consider myself to be a fan of Motorcycle Club books so I was braced for disappointment. Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit! I enjoyed the heck out of this novel.
