Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is Books With One-Word Titles (submitted by….yours truly!). I was surprised by how many books I’ve read that only had one word in their titles. I imagine it was difficult for the authors to condense the theme of their books into just one word.
- Fortuity by Jewel E. Ann
- Verity by Colleen Hoover
- Autobiography by Christina Lauren
- Drive by Kate Stewart
- Tattered by Devney Perry
- Reel by Kennedy Ryan
- Mercy by Debra Anastasia
- Managed by Kristen Callihan
- Pause by Kylie Scott
- Pucked by Helena Hunting
It’s amazing how many one-word titles there are out there. I love the ones you chose. I’ve read 6 of them.
6 titles? Wow!
I enjoyed Autobiography. Great list!
Verity has such a pretty cover.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
That cover is so unique and mysterious!
I love the cover for Autoboyography.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I think that cover is so pretty also.
This is a great list! I read, and loved, Managed and Pucked! As for the other eight mentions, they are all on my tbr! I agree, it has to be difficult to sum up a whole novel with one word. I think that’s why I enjoy the one word titles more than the longer titles.
I hope you have a great Tuesday!
Thank you. We must have similar taste. 😊
I see that! It’s always nice to meet another romance reader!!
What a great list. I’ve read only Reel myself, but a few more of these are on my TBR. 😀
I hope you enjoy them!
Ooh, I remember really enjoying Autoboyography! I also forgot I have Reel on my TBR. Great list and very cute blog! 🙂
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy Reel.
Great selection, and congrats on coming up with the topic this week!
Thanks, Lisa!!
Great idea for a topic! It was a bit of a hard one for me since I prefer long titles, but it was still fun 🙂
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

Thanks! I’m glad you were able to enjoy searching for titles.
I was quite surprised by how many of these I still had to use, I thought I would have used up most of them the last time we did this topic, but it turned out no, I still had plenty!
