Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is Topographic Book Covers. This includes book covers with a design that is all or mostly all words. (Topic submitted by Mareli @ Elza Reads) I’m addicted to typography and cover design, so this was a fun challenge. I chose some covers that either set the tone for the book or that compliment the plot. Other covers I picked just because they look so darn cool!
- Tell No One by Harlan Coben
- The Raging Ones by Krista & Becca Ritchie
- Confess by Colleen Hoover
- Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover
- Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren
- The First Girl Child by Amy Harmon
- What Lovers Do by Jewel E. Ann
- Dear Enemy by Kristen Callihan
- The Highland Fling by Meghan Quinn
- A Love Letter to Whiskey by Kandi Steiner
I’d love to hear your thoughts on my selection. Are there any typographic book covers that you would add?
The First Girl Child’s cover is astoundingly simple but oh how it sticks out!
I agree!
I’m jealous I didn’t use that CL book. Great picks.
Thanks. I loved that story.
I used a couple CoHo books, too. Love your picks.
CoHo has the best covers!
These are all so pretty, and you have some wonderful books here!
My favorite in your list is Dear Enemy!
It’s a pretty one!
