Thirty years ago, my father became the other half of a broken love story.

A relationship he’s kept hidden for decades.

Upon unearthing his secret through a series of emails in our paper’s archives, I began my search for the truth. Haunted by my father’s love story, and in my quest for answers, I never imagined I would discover a love of my own. Or that my love for Easton Crowne would be key in discovering the reason behind what split our parents up.

Doomed from the start and knowing the havoc our relationship would inevitably wreak on our families, I could never have prepared for the toll it would take or the cost of the truth.

But in order to find our ending, we had to go back to their beginning.

My name is Natalie Butler, and this is my star-crossed love story.

Reverse is the follow-up to Kate Stewart’s massive hit Drive, so it has big shoes to fill. I’m happy to say it fits quite nicely. I highly recommend reading Drive before reading Reverse. The story will have far more meaning if you do, and you’ll avoid major spoilers. Reverse is about the forbidden romance between the children of the main characters from the previous book.

Review: The Finish Line by Kate Stewart

Review: The Finish Line by Kate Stewart

The Ravenhood series was only intended to be a duet. I devoured Flock and Exodus. The plot is unique, riveting, and twisted, but they are not easy reads. I managed to keep my sanity intact, however, with the help of some Tums, screamed obscenities, wine, and therapy sessions courtesy of Facebook spoiler groups. The Finish Line was going to be an extended epilogue but it  turned into a full-length novel. Some epilogues are simply a nice bonus, but this book? I had no idea just how much I needed to read it.

Oh man. Exodus, the conclusion of The Ravenhood Duet, is every bit the dark and twisted rollercoaster it is billed to be. Full disclosure: dark romances are hit or miss for me. I connect with some more easily than others. This one left me feeling too raw, too mentally and emotionally exhausted — with not enough payoff.

Review: Sweeping the Series by Kate Stewart

Review: Sweeping the Series by Kate Stewart

Sweeping the Series is a romantic comedy novella about Ren, a womanizer who seems to spend more time feeding the tabloids with salacious stories than focusing on his career as a major league baseball catcher. Erica is the PR representative hired to clean up his image. Oh, and she’s also his ex-girlfriend/love of his life. There’s a love/hate dynamic between them that gives off all kinds of sparks.
