Hollywood is a temptress, a trickster, a soul-stealing devil. I married an A-list player, knowing I come second place to his craft. But Lucas and I are a golden couple, a modern-day fairy tale.

I’ve never doubted what we built...until the sudden death of Lucas’s best friend has scandal rocking the Hills and shaking the foundation of our relationship.

I chose Lucas as my safe haven...he chose the role of a lifetime.

For the next three months, I’ll share my nights with a stranger, watching as he buries his pain, immersed in his role and living as someone else.

We’ve done this before. I tell myself it’s just another movie, and he’ll return to me.

I should’ve known this time would be different.

To get my husband back, I’ll need the strength of ten men.

As it turns out, I’ll have to go through two.

Kate Stewart wows in this emotional Hollywood tale of love and loss.

Lucas’s passion for both his art and for Mila is intoxicating. I’ve always found talent to be incredibly sexy, and Lucas is an A-list movie star known for giving his entire self over to his craft. I don’t think any woman could resist being the intense focus of his attention and affection. His complicated relationship with his best friend adds another intriguing dimension.

Mila is a shining star in the story. She straddles the line between losing herself in the man she loves and being a supportive wife. There are so many facets to her personality. She’s charming, intelligent, and just a little bit wild.

The erratic time jumps in Method were problematic for me. The story frequently bounces between present day, a few weeks ago, a few months ago, 6 years ago, and even a decade or more in the past. The flashbacks are not linear or predictable, and they left me feeling disoriented at times. I also found the various turns toward the end to be too untidy.

There is no doubting the originality of the plot or the appeal of the complex characters, though. The story is enticing and edgy with just the right amount of mystery. I absolutely fell in love with Lucas’s and Mila’s love affair.
