Justin has a curse, and thanks to a Reddit thread, it's now all over the internet. Every woman he dates goes on to find their soul mate the second they break up. When a woman slides into his DMs with the same problem, they come up with a plan: They'll date each other and break up. Their curses will cancel each other’s out, and they’ll both go on to find the love of their lives. It’s a bonkers idea… and it just might work.

Emma hadn't planned that her next assignment as a traveling nurse would be in Minnesota, but she and her best friend agree that dating Justin is too good of an opportunity to pass up, especially when they get to rent an adorable cottage on a private island on Lake Minnetonka.

It's supposed to be a quick fling, just for the summer. But when Emma's toxic mother shows up and Justin has to assume guardianship of his three siblings, they're suddenly navigating a lot more than they expected–including catching real feelings for each other. What if this time Fate has actually brought the perfect pair together?

I wish I could say that I’m able to exercise some self-control in my consumption of Abby Jimenez’s books, but the truth is I gobble them up eagerly, always lying to myself that I’ll read just one more chapter. Just for the Summer is deliciously funny and emotional—two great attributes that work well together for an addictive read.

Review ♥ Long Live the Beautiful Hearts by Emma Scott

Review ♥ Long Live the Beautiful Hearts by Emma Scott

It sucks when an author whose work you admire writes a book that falls short of your expectations. I was pretty disappointed in Bring Down the Stars, the first book in the Beautiful Hearts series, especially since all my friends loved it. However, I think it makes the triumph of Long Live The Beautiful Hearts all the sweeter. It contains everything I felt the previous book lacked.

Blog Tour, Review & Excerpt: Fall by Kristen Callihan

Fall is the third book in Kristen Callihan’s addictive rock star romance series, VIP, and let’s just say I was more than a little excited to read Jax’s story. Each book in the series is a standalone, but I highly suggest you read the previous books first. Jax has an important back story that alters the dynamics of the band Kill John, and I think you lose some of the impact if you skip those books.

This was kind of meh for me. I didn’t love it; I didn’t hate it. The plot is strong, and I found the first half really intriguing. I got sucked in by Mina’s hardships and Lev becoming her guardian angel. A lot of wonderful conflicts are set up, and I was looking forward to everything coming to a boil.

Blog Tour, Review & Giveaway ♥ Some Sort of Love by Melanie Harlow

“We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.” I officially have a girl crush on Melanie Harlow. I’m in love with her writing style, and in awe of all the original, entertaining characters she creates. I have yet to read a book of hers I haven’t liked, and with Some Sort of Love the streak remains unbroken. It’s the third book in the Happy Crazy Love series, but you don’t need to read the previous books to enjoy the story.
