A new standalone novel in the Brooklyn Bruisers world!

Sometimes lady luck shakes your hand, and sometimes she smacks your face. Sometimes she does both on the same day.

Three years ago I met the most amazing girl in the world. We were both down on our luck. Then I got that call—the one that tells you to get your buns on a plane to go meet your destiny.

But the girl was left behind. I didn’t have her phone number, and she didn’t know my real name.

While I became a professional hockey player, she became a superstar, with platinum records and legions of fans. And a slick, music producer boyfriend who treated her badly.

But fate wasn’t done with us yet. When Delilah turns up at a hockey game, I can’t resist making contact. The internet swoons when I ask her out on a date.
She might not remember me. But her jerkface ex does. He’ll do anything to keep us apart.

Good thing athletes never give up. This time I’m playing for keeps.

I like to imagine that Sarina Bowen has as much fun writing the Brooklyn series as I have reading it. Superfan is a mood-lifting delight and a great addition to my sports rom com library.

Popstar Delilah Spark may have a superfan in Brooklyn Bruisers goalie Silas, but I am Silas’s biggest fan. It would be difficult for any man to compete with his easy going, fun, patient, and attentive nature. His main goal is to love and support Delilah. He’s not threatened by her fame and he’s not afraid to be vulnerable. Time and again he puts his feelings out there, knowing his heart could be broken. It doesn’t hurt that he’s hot—hello, Mr. 7% Body Fat—but has zero ego.Delilah is a bit of a contradiction. She is confident in her talent but insecure in her self-worth. She is loved by millions, but lives a pretty isolated life. Despite her intelligence, she often allows others to make decisions for her. She created a soft spot in me, and I enjoyed the positive influence Silas has on her.

Fate never seems to be on Silas and Delilah’s side, so I was treated to my favorite type of romance: the slow burn. The introduction of Silas’s nemesis creates some nice conflict, even though I found parts to be predictable.

Superfan is pure entertainment and can be enjoyed as a standalone, but I appreciated reconnecting with the characters and couples from previous books in the series. As always, the members of the Brooklyn Bruisers team can be counted on for camaraderie and hijinks.
